We all go into natural hypnotic traces everyday without even realising it . Hypnosis (trance) is comparable to being absorbed in a book or film that the hours seem to fly by or sitting in a meeting where your mind has wandered. Usually cognitive hypnotherapy needs two - three sessions, although most people notice a change after the first session. Its a change of mindset, the move towards a goal . Hypnotherapy can teach you how to control your body's responses and reactions and anchor calm when you become worried. It is during the hypnotic state that the subconscious mind becomes extremely responsive to positive suggestions.
Neuro- Linguistic programming is based on the overall operational presupposition that all behavior has a structure and that structure can be modeled, learned, taught and changed (re programmed). Its in noticing patterns in language and behavior that we see what an individual is doing in their brain to create their experience.
